The community Tene Omarim is situated in Southern Israel- thirty minutes north of Beer Sheva on the border of the Hebron Hills and the Negev.

Following Israel's disengagement from Gaza, the citizens of

Tene (a completely secular community at the time) reached a brave decision to absorb a group of 12 religious families from Gush Katif and thus transform the

community to one of handful of small communities in the Negev with

this type of diversified population.

Since then yishuv has grown significantly and has turned into a vibrant gem in the Negev - an example of tolerance and pioneering.

However, our current playground is  unusable and unsafe, leaving our children with no outlet for play. There are no green spaces in Tene- not even one public grassy area!

Please partner with us on our endeavor to construct a children's park in the heart of Tene. This park will transform the face of the Hebron Hills area and allow further growth in the Negev and the entire region.

Support the Negev, Hebron and Israeli Pluralism by helping us build a park for our community!
